PDA is currently planning its 61st Annual Meeting, scheduled for August 12-16, 2009 at the Marriott Downtown Waterfront Hotel in Portland.
The Annual Meeting includes plenary sessions with both practical and cutting-edge talks on a wide range of medical and surgical dermatologic topics. In addition, the popular Clinicopathologic Conference (CPC) features presentation and discussion of the latest clinical case studies in the field of dermatology.
The last Annual Symposium attracted over 250 attendees from around the US and abroad to San Francisco for four days of top-level educational programming. Members receive significant registration discounts to the Annual Meeting (from $100 - $250).

Newly renovated and upgraded to championship status, Redtail Golf Course is a
challenge for golfers of all levels. Rolling hills, picturesque water hazards and treelined fairways greet you on this easily walked, player-friendly course. magnificent landscapes as you travel along the Old Columbia River Gorge Highway.
Designated a National Scenic Area, the Gorge will engage you with its compelling
vistas, hanging valleys, terraced cliffs, fantastic rock pinnacles and enchanting
waterfalls. Stop at Women’s Forum and Crown Point for commanding views of the
Columbia River and Gorge, and visit the most impressive of the waterfalls,
Multnomah Falls which at 620 feet is the fourth highest in the United States.
Explore the Falls, visiting the gift shop, interpretive center, and walking up the paved trail to the Simon Benson Bridge before returning to Portland along the mighty Columbia River.

Registration for members, non-members, residents and office staff entitle admittance to all exhibits and social activities. The spouse/guest registration entitles admittance to the social activities and the exhibit hall. Tickets are required for the President’s Dinner and all Special Events & Activities. Indicate the number of tickets you desire on the registration form and include the fee in your check or credit card payment. Advance registration is required in order for badges and tickets to social activities to be available at the time of arrival. A limited number of social activities will be available to those who register on-site. There will be no provision for partial registration or refunds for social activities not attended.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Registration fees, less a $25 administration fee, will be refunded following the meeting upon written notice of cancellation to the PDA headquarters office. In order to qualify for a refund of fees, cancellation notice must be received in writing no later than Monday, July 6. There will be no refund of fees for cancellation received after that date or for lack of attendance without notification.

Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Blackwell Futura Media Services and the Pacific Dermatologic Association.
Blackwell Futura Media Services is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation Statement
Blackwell Futura Media Services designates this educational activity for a maximum of 17 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
PDA's Annual Meeting is also recognized by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) for 17 hours of AAD Category 1 CME credit and may be used toward the American Academy of Dermatology's Continuing Medical Education Award.
DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST
In keeping with the rules of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, conflict of interest disclosure is required of all faculty and other participants in the Annual Meeting. Speakers from the audience are also required to indicate any relevant conflict of interest during discussion of a given topic.

Attendees will receive evaluation forms for all the sessions at the meeting. Please fill out the forms completely and deposit them in the collection box at the registration desk.
