PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Dermatologists are often times required to carry out various painful and invasive procedures in young children in the office based setting. This can be taxing, time-consuming and potentially traumatic to children and their families. Dr. Benjamin provides practical advice and insights to accomplishing procedures in children of all ages in a safe, minimally painful, and efficient way.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
| 1) | Promote patient cooperation in children of all ages. |
| 2) | Insure safe and effective pain management. |
| 3) | Adopt practical pearls to maximize efficiency in the office work space when performing pediatric invasive procedures. |
| 4) | Gain a better understanding of the unique principles to pediatric surgery. |
