Annual Meetings

Brook Brouha, MD

San Diego, CA
Years in Practice: 3
Residency: University of California — San Diego

Q: How did you get involved with the PDA?

A: At their 2008 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, I was a resident case presenter. I enjoyed the non-intimidating size, the people, the learning, and the location — this all got me hooked.

Q: As a young dermatologist, why do you choose to be involved with the PDA?

A: Because I'm just starting out, I'm looking to be a part of an organization where I can grow while learning new skills and techniques and establish relationships with other dermatologists who I can look to for advice. Combined with reasonable dues and meeting fees — PDA is all that and more.

Q: Why should a young dermatologist join the PDA?

A: The reason I initially attended was because of the resident case that I presented. But by being a member,I'm able to travel to cool cities, learn while earning CMEs and meet nice people. Because of all of these — I'll be a lifetime member.
